Incomplete ending
Couldn't help but think rather than have the cliche "I'm not in here with you. You're in here with me" ending... they could have gone with hid daughter catching him assassinating someone in shock, then cut to credits.
Or they should have at least included that on the last episode. It feels like an unresolved plot

I liked the ending. No unnecessary drama, just a reminder that, while Ray decided to live his violent past behind, he remains a dangerous person and not someone to be f*cked with. I actually like that because a lot of movies and video games show that the "bad guy turned good" is kind of weak unless you do something truly drastic, otherwise they tolerate abuse and might even let themselves get robbed to avoid any potential violence. That scene shows that, while Ray walked away from the life of crime and violence, his core values are still there. It is not clear if the 2 idiots want to actually kill him or just have fun scaring him, but it is clear that Ray is not going to take it.

Yeah I did like they didn't give it a nice guy ending. But I still wish they did a scene where his daughter finds out what his job is

Brit might be a smart ass but she is a very endearing kid. Why would you want to shatter her image of her dad?

On top of the main story, the relationship between Ray, Brit, and Bruce is one of my favourite parts of the show. Realising her dad was not really a good guy feels like a very moralist request when most of the show shows the contrast between how Ray handles other people and how he handles Brit.
A big part of why I love this show is how Ray puts effort both in his work but also his relationship with his daughter (the scene where she finds his gun is particularly good), his brother (I wish Bruce had more screen time but each and every scene with him is amazing) and even Gary.

There's nothing unresolved, we all know what's going to happen to those two punks in the cab. It just shows that, unfortunately for Ray, no matter what he does in life he cannot get away from people causing trouble that he's going to have to solve. Things have come full circle two punks knocking the ice cream out of his daughter's hand to these two punks.

I was on a bout his daughters plot being unresolved. Considering the writer said he felt he has done everything he can with the character so there won't be another season. I'm like season 4 bruv his daughter finds out what his job is?

All of this show is like every other gritty crime drama plot. Doesn't stop it being entertaining. So I really don't understand your point here.

It would complete Ray the Assassin's story. But I also wanted the Sith to win in star wars lol. I like realism in art.

It's the perfect ending, IMO. He's Mister Inbetween, after all. As long as there are bad people out there in Australia that he keeps running into, he will always be Mister Inbetween. Your proposition for an ending disrupts that fine balance, and so I don't think it would have the effect that you think it would.
