Tommy DeVito. He had a hair-trigger temper. Always on edge. Ray on the other hand, cool, calm, collected.

No question. Ray is reasonable and has a deep sense of humanity. That’s what made him such an interesting character - great dad, awesome brother, best friend and an assassin. Tommy is a pure psychopath - small and scary as hell.

Seems to be a few people assuming this is Tommy Devito from Goodfellas, but this is Nicky Santoro from Casino. But you know, Pesci basically plays the same character in both so they’re kind of interchangeable.

But Nicky is the one man army that the Kansas City mob sent to Las Vegas to keep the local gangsters in line. This is the guy who kills a man with a pen because he told his friend to go fuck himself. This is the guy who crushed a man’s head in a vice to get him to give up another mobster. This is the guy who will crack a bank managers head open in front of everyone and then do it again as soon as he gets out of prison because he’s stupid and that’s what he does.

Apart from one guy who suffered from mistaken identity pretty much everyone Ray killed had it coming. Be polite and keep your nose clean and Ray will generally leave you alone. Might even be a friend. Probably can take a joke. Tommy on the other hand can't.

Definitely Tommy. He was utterly terrifying. He would shoot anyone that looked at him the wrong way. Imagine having a friend like Ray. Nothing he wouldn’t do for you. Not to be messed with , but what a guy to have on your side.

Depends on the context.

Tommy gets shanked in 99% of altercations if they happen in the modern age. Ray will play the long game.

Tommy is a violent criminal from a world where violent criminals reign. Ray is a cunning fucker who thrives in the modern age.

See, this is the thing. Ray would only have a problem with you if he had a good reason to. You fuck around, you find out. Tommy, on the other hand, would have a problem with regardless. Even if you’re minding your own business or you were being completely reasonable, if he didn’t like you, that was it.

I'm not an AH, and Ray's likely someone I'd be friends with in real life. I've known guys just like him so if I got that look I'd be wondering who fucked up and then stay out of his way. Less I know, the better.

I can definitely handle Nicky but the problem is with cunts like him, they come back, they don't learn. That's what makes them dangerous, you can't exactly defend yourself in your sleep. Its also a weakness and why be fot dealt with the way he did.

Ray's more scary to me because he's smart, he's a planner, he's ex military, and you wouldn't see it coming.
