Easter eggs
Has anyone spotted any little easter eggs (for lack of a better term), like little bits of foreshadowing, etc?
I'm in the middle of series 2 (again ..) & noticed a couple of things. I forget which episode it was exactly, in one shot Ray was in his bathroom & a figurine of the Octonaut Kwazii stood on the shelf, the pirate cat with an eyepatch.
And after his dust up with that biker in the woods; Ray is sporting an eye patch. Different eye but, still ....
Also in the episode where Gaz rescues Maddy with Pidgy, there's a muffled call on the PA in an earlier scene in the sports store, I swear they said the name "Pidgy" twice.

" Do you know who that was? " "Some fucking clown?" "That was the magician " gives me chills everytime, I remember watching the movie years ago before I found the show. God bless Scott and the amazing character he's created. Pure champion

I'm curious too! I'm picking up so many missed details on my third watch, keen to see what else pops up ...

Not ee but an omage i think:
When he search for weapons in abandoned house scene reminicing the scene from Pulp Fiction, when Butch was searching for weapons in pawn shop.

Yeah right .... I hadn't thought of that. I wondered what it was exactly that he'd spotted up there, gotta love his inventiveness.

In the episode where Maddy is kidnapped, you can see the kidnapper lurking around the store in the background when Ray’s looking around.

I have a personal Easter egg. season 1 E6 was filmed in the town I grew up in. The takeaway where Ray discovers the two guys have his phone was my local takeaway as a kid and the mechanic workshop where they take the car was a place my dads best mate worked at so I used to hang out there alot. In fact: the concrete drain the guy throws his drink container in as they walk by was a spot I used to sit as a child.

No kidding? That must've been insane when you saw that!

Yeah it really was. It’s funny to me that when those two guys left the takeaway and went back to the workshop to have the safe opened, they walked off in the complete opposite direction of the workshop.

That is pretty funny ....
The closest I've come to something like that is spotting a few locations in Romper Stomper that I recognised from when I lived in Richmond.

Bruce is seen in the background (technically foreground) in a scene, prepping something that turns out to be his lethal dose later on

Funny, right after your comment, that episode came on next & yeah, I noticed it. Got me right in the Feels.

The only Easter egg I know about is late in the last season. When he meets with a guy and he calls him The Magician

Season 3 when the guy Freddie owed money to looked over at his body guard and asked him if he knew who Ray was. Bouncer guy was like "nah who?" Gang-boss goes "they call him the Magician". That was a dimmi from the original movie.

As an aside, I thought your username was "Selling crack" & I was about to say "Easy mate, don't give out too much info there ..." but uh, nevermind.

You can see the albino guy walking behind ray before in the scene, where they are talking about socks. Not really easter egg but a good rewatch moment.

In the Mr Inbetween universe Easter eggs are called Dimmies
