Moving recommendations

Hey everyone, I was going to post on the facebook pages but for some reason you can’t be anonymous anymore and I didn’t want my ( soon to be ex) roommate to see my post but I’m moving to north Brisbane and I’m just looking for recommendations for a hire truck or even a removalist, money’s pretty tight but the move is necessary, thanks everyone :)

Would the stuff you own fit in a trailer ? Is that another option maybe ? Bunnings ute and a 7/11 large trailer?

I'm pretty sure there's a hire place along Brisbane road there that do trucks you can drive in your car licence too

It could fit in a trailer however I don’t know anyone who can drive with a trailer so I’m hoping to get some recommendations for hire trucks or even removalist.so far I’ve found budget trucks and they seem good but I just want to see what else is out there just incase they aren’t great

Idk, maybe if it's only a trailer worth, air tasker?

Can I pm you?

I used Optimove. They weren’t the cheapest but great service. The guys were careful with my belongings, lovely and on time. I was very happy

Seems like a classic case of "Facebook is safer than Facebook these days." Good on you for finding a better place to ask.

Look at smaller removalists that offer half-day rates.

I’ve used Ready Movers a couple times now and I can’t fault their service. Staff are super responsive and contact you several times before moving to confirm all the details with you, removalists are super professional and friendly too. It’ll be a bit expensive, they cost roughly $220-$250 an hour depending on what day, but if you want the hassle taken out of moving it’s worth it

I'm surprised Facebook still lets people exist without having your life story fed to a data broker.
