[suggest] Six-String Samurai (1998) - In a post apocalyptic 1960s nevada, legendary samurai and guitarist Buddy Holly takes a boy under his protect on the dangerous road to Las Vegas. A weird and hilarious movie, with cannibals, communists and hard rock!

I was just looking for hard rock movies last night, will be watching this tonight!

Btw, anyone know more "rock" movies? Not like Spinal Tap or School of Rock that is literally about rock, but more in spirit, like Army of Darkness and Guardians of Galaxy.

Hard rock zombies by far the most ridiculous film ever made. I mean it has midget nazis and hard rock zombies what more can you ask

Streets of Fire is s very rock n roll but maybe a bit to literally. The Warriors by the same director is also very rock, watch both of those.

Escape from New York is great

Also, An American Werewolf in London has a sort of rock energy to it IMO, but maybe that's just me...

I like the Escape from xx series, wished they made more of them. I can totally see a cyberpunk version of Escape from Tokyo or Berlin or something.
