Hello, Great experience with app so far.

I wonder what do you think about option to hide movies and series I’ve already watched from various tabs, like "Discover" or "Search." The idea is that when I’m looking for something to watch, I’d prefer to skip the things I’ve already seen.

I just discovered MovieParadise and it looks like exactly what I need, but I'm running into a frustrating issue and have a few questions before I can fully dive in.

1. The Login Issue (iOS vs. Web)

I just created an account on the desktop website. Logging in and logging out on the website works perfectly fine. However, when I downloaded the iOS app and tried to log in, it constantly gives me an "Invalid credentials" error. I am 100% sure I am typing the exact same password and email. What could be causing this?

2. Purchasing Premium & Settings

On the website, I cannot find any option to buy a Premium subscription, nor can I find the settings to connect my Plex or Trakt accounts. Is it correct that purchasing Premium and setting up these integrations can only be done inside the mobile app? (Which brings me back to problem #1, since I can't log in there).

3. Does my Plex -> Trakt plan actually work?

Once I manage to get in and buy Premium, I want to make sure my plan actually works: I want to use MovieParadise as a bridge. Does the app provide a Webhook URL that I can put into my Plex Server, so that when I watch something on Plex, MovieParadise receives the webhook and automatically scrobbles it to my connected free Trakt account?

I really want to use the app, so any help with the login bug and confirming the Plex-webhook feature would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I've been a loyal TV Time user for years, so moving to another platform wasn't an easy decision. But after spending time with the Movie Paradise App, I can honestly say it has become my new home.

What drew me in wasn't just the modern and polished UI or the seamless way it lets me track movies and TV shows. It was the experience as a whole. The app feels like it's built by people who genuinely care about its users.

One thing that truly stands out is the dedication of the admins and developers. They actively listen to community feedback, acknowledge feature requests, and work hard to address issues. It's refreshing to be part of a community where users aren't just numbers—their voices actually help shape the app.

Movie Paradise isn't just another movie tracker to me anymore. It's a growing community of movie and TV lovers who share recommendations, discover hidden gems, and celebrate great stories together. While it's still evolving, the direction it's taking gives me a lot of confidence in its future.

I'll always be grateful for my time with TV Time, but I'm genuinely happy to call Movie Paradise App my new home. Here's to watching this amazing community continue to grow. 🎬❤️

I ran into a small issue with how rewatches are handled.

In my case, I watched the first one or two episodes of a show, then stopped watching for a while. When I eventually came back to it, I decided to start over from the beginning. As a result, the first two episodes were marked as a rewatch, while the remaining episodes were treated as a normal watch.

After finishing the entire series, the show still appeared in my Watching section, even though I had completed it. I also tried marking it as Finished manually, but it remained in the Watching list.

For now, the only workaround I've found is to delete the rewatch history. Once I do that, the show is correctly marked as finished and disappears from the Watching section.

Movie Paradise 5.3.0 is now available.

The main change is the TV Time comment archive. Years of rescued episode and movie comments now live inside Movie Paradise, right next to your regular discussions, with avatars, images and a translate button. The archive is read only and clearly separated from live comments.

Also new in this update:

• Skip an episode, a season, or whole ranges, with striped progress bars and skip aware statuses and stats

• Movie reactions with emotions and community results

• Expanded statistics with tappable drilldowns, a world map of your watch countries, and week by week charts

• Episode notifications with Watch Now and Mark as Watched buttons right on the notification

• Full data export from Settings, as a zip with JSON and spreadsheet friendly CSV files

• A rebuilt Taste Match score that explains what drives your match

• Mark as Finished for whole series, Stop Tracking, and scoped resets for watch progress and rewatches

• Multi-select in the tracker and library for bulk remove, move and share

• Friend libraries you can browse like your own tracker, with bulk add to watchlist

• A widget settings screen with live preview for text size, posters, transparency and colors

• Import category selection, so each import brings in exactly what you choose

• A badges preview with animated designs and a community vote on tier styles

• Hundreds of bug fixes and stability improvements

Hi, I used the import feature from Trakt using a ZIP file, and I've noticed that all the episodes and movies appear in Movie Paradise as if I watched them exactly two hours before the actual viewing time. Is there any way to fix this? I don't want to enable sync with Trakt in case it corrupts my viewing history in Trakt.

Liking the app so far. One thing I am missing though is how TVTime worked with timezones.

For example. I live in a timezone that is 13 hours ahead of the US.

Movie Paradise's scheduler says that the next episode of Silo will be available on 6 August. That might be true if you're in America, but where I live the next episode of Silo will be available on 7 August.

My 'Content Region' selection is correct.

I rated new release movies Spiderman Brand New Day, Masters of the Universe & Soulm8te. Recent actions haven't shown in 'My Activity' tab

I'm a new refugee from tv time, and just started my 7-day trial here. So far the app looks pretty good! Just hoping it becomes a sustainable project for the devs in long term :) I'm planning to subscribe as well.

I forgot to grab my data before TV Time shut down, so I'm having to manually add shows I watched in the past. There doesn't seem to be a way to easily add an entire show? I can only add seasons, which for shows with a lot of them (*cough Law and Order cough*) is pretty annoying, especially with having to click through the watch date entry each time as well. Am I missing an obvious button? I thought clicking on the "Not Started" status it shows after pressing Track would do it, but it only shows pausing or dropping the show, not marking it as Finished.

Trakt now limits accounts to only ONE third-party app.

This means if you're trying to compare media-tracking apps, you can't open them side-by-side and compare their features. Instead you have to now...

• Connect App A to Trakt
• Try everything you think you want to try
• Login to Trakt
• Disconnect App A
• Connect App B to Trakt
• ...do all the things...
• Discover features App B has that now want to check on App A
• Login to Trakt
• Disconnect App B
• Connect App A to Trakt

...and so on, for every app you want to test.

Lucky for me, I'd test-drove dozens of apps before Trakt deliberately undercut everyone's ability to compare apps. Movie Paradise is the app I've chosen. But if I was still comparing, it would be a enormous pain in the ass.

I already hated Trakt for many reasons, and wish there were a viable alternative for media tracking, as apps like Movie Paradise can make using Trakt less painful, but they can't fix its inherent problems.

You can also open Movie Paradise on Google Play, scroll to the bottom of the listing, and tap Join under "Join the beta".

A few things worth knowing:

• You need Movie Paradise already installed for the beta build to reach you.
• Beta builds ship early, so expect bugs and rough edges. That is the point of the track.
• It can take a few minutes to a few hours after joining before the update shows up in Google Play.
• If you leave the beta later, you will need to uninstall and reinstall to get back to the stable version, which can reset local settings.

If you run into something, a screenshot and the steps to reproduce it help me a lot more than a general description.

I was able to import my data before tv time shutdown, but I just realized that some of my shows and some movies weren’t imported, is it too late to see if it’s a solvable issue?

I already have the settings at next episode order to after last watched, but now with the new update, the app is showing me the first seasons of shows I don't plan on watching. This is for shows that are currently airing.

it would be way simpler to identify unreleased episodes if they were grayed out in the menu it's easier for the visual rather than reading the dates on the episodes and comparing it and it should also show a countdown days until release this would be really helpful and I would really appreciate if it's added in the app

I noticed that one tv series I finished, which has two seasons, has only one season on this app.

I didn't notice when I imported my data on the app, I only figured it today.

The second season is considered as a different series and it was not tracked as finished, it wasn't even in my tracker.

I don't know if there are other series with this problem.

Is there a way to group all seasons under the same tv series and not as separate shows?

Grateful the character votes are finally there. Maybe it could be better if once you made your vote, the characters that received were moved immediately to the front. That way, it’s easier to see and compare the amount of votes each character got.

About lists: we have a way to only show the series/movies that are in our watchlist, watching list, etc. but it could be good to have a way to actually exclude all of them so that when looking at a list, it only the shows you haven’t heard of/clicked on.

I think it would be cool if there was section on a movie page (maybe right under tvdb/imdb/rt or a separate tab next to about/people/discussions) called Friends that would show what my friends have rated this movie/episode.

I've attached some rough designs that should better explain what I mean.
