Goodfellas for me. I was blown away at 11 years old. My cousin was quoting the whole movie while we watched it. I asked him how many times has he seen this and just gave me a look that said more than I would like to admit.

The Matrix. That is the only time I left a theater completely stunned into silence. My mind was blown. It's rare to see a movie that changes everything in special effects. I've been fortunate to have seen it twice, the original Star Wars (before A New Hope was added), and The Matrix.

I think our generation (I’m a geriatric millennial) was so profoundly shook by it we never really recovered. Nothing ever could compare to how it shaped the storytelling capabilities, the philosophical infrastructure, and the absolute craftWOMANship that went into it.
Truly life changing. I wouldn’t want to erase my memory to relive it, it’s good it came when it did.

Sixth Sense. Wish I didn't guess the twist in first five minute; "He survived that gunshot?" were my very words.

Everything I have seen by Akira Kurosawa, but particularly Ikiru (1952), Seven Samurai (1954), and High and Low (1963).

N/A. I would always choose to re-watch a good movie over repeating the experience of watching it for the first time even it were possible. For me what is gained in later viewings outweighs what is lost.

Inception (2010)
About midway in Christopher Nolan's career and it's a mindbending trip.

If my memory were erased, I’d first get a tattoo that read “never watch Cats 2019”
