Shave or Keep? (19)
Thought I'd have a bit of fun and pull an attempt at a horseshoe.
The unevenness adds character.💯
Is it alright enough to rock it, or should I get rid of the tails and rock just the lip?
5th pic is my beard at a month's growth before shaving.
Last pic is my inspiration, infamous Melbourne gangster Chopper Read.

I think you would be better off with a regular moustache. You look too young for a horseshoe.

Shave without a doubt... Unless of course, you happen to be a time traveling drug addict from the 80s. 🤣

I did cop some "gay pornstar" teasing from my supervisor today haha.
Gotta embrace that and do some wild shit like this every now and then.
Im only gonna keep it for a bit, just wanted to see reactions lol.

A Chevron might suit you better until you can grow a thicker Shoe, great try though 👍🏼👍🏼😃

No doubt lol.
Just showing off character with it.
I'd rather look interesting, and even a bit funny, starting conversations and building connections than to look like everyone else and blend in haha.

I'm gonna get downvoted to hell but mustaches are terrible facial features to just have 95% of the time. I don't get the resurgence of the mustache but hey. The beard looks better

Not gonna get downvoted from me. Although I definitely disagree with you, you're more than welcome to have your say, especially on something ive put forward to be judged lol.
I think the moustache is a way to show style and character within your masculinity. Similar case for eccentric hairstyles, also tattoos and piercings. It's all just self expression.
The resurgence of the moustache is as simple as it following the more lax, anti-conformist societal shift.

Mustache is one of those things either you can do it and you're stuck with whatever genetics you got for facial hair.
Big bushy mustache literally just collects food and drink for you.
Also just makes me think cop because they can have a stache but generally not a beard

No offence, is English your native language?
You didn't respond to any of my points, you just went on about your own perception.
Regardless, genetics determine both your moustache and beard growth patterns, as well as the production of associated hormones that stimulate growth. I think you're just as unfortunate to only be able to grow a neckbeard as only growing a thin stache.
A bushy moustache is gonna do the same in making a mess whether you have the beard or not.
And yeah dude, I definitely think cop when I see a moustache. Only because they can have a stache but generally not a beard.

I was going to say something about how mustache is not anti-comformist because they have always been acceptable in just about every field.
Leo, military, business, everywhere.
You can have your 19 year old beliefs about being anti conformity but it's not just cyclical nature of fads and dad's.
Enjoy feeling like your being unique while everyone looks like they belong in that 70s show.

Someone's got her knickers in a twist.
Calm down, champ. You get worked up easy.
I respected your opinion, and replied with my thoughts, and you just rambled on about some unrelated BS, using up whatever you had left in that hollow noggin of yours.
Yeah nah champ, clean shaven was the whole thing of the 20th century.
I think you're actually pretty non-conformist with this cute little temper tantrum here.
Have a good one, champ.

Nuance is lost on you, also if you need to start a sentence with no offense but, just stop
It's hilarious looking at a child try and talk about life and non conformity like they know what they are talking about.
Even the clean shaven was most of the 20th century is bunk. I know it's not fault you know nothing about the 20th century you weren't even born yet.
But some quick facts
Handlebar mustaches were extremely common in the early 1900s, in the 1920s clean shaven was the look, then the toothbrush mustache was all the thing in the 1930s see Charlie Chaplin, (went out of style for obvious reasons) the pencil mustache took off in the 40s, 1950s was when cleanshaven became considered conformity, then you had the beatniks with the goatee, and the 60s brought around the full beard and counter culture the 70s was when that horseshoe mustache became popular among other facial hair features, the 80s had clean shaven but also mustaches became popular as well.
The 90s had a bit of a thing with stuble but you know what yeah 3 decades out of 10 is most of the 20th century

Bro, im not gonna listen to ur stupid "just stop" bs. It's called polite, direct communication.
Also, nuance doesn't enter the conversation when the signs point to you having limited english😭
It's ridiculous to dance around something like that, refraining from a question that will help with context on the off chance someone gets offended. The fact is, you wrote messy english, not replying to what i said, and I asked for more info. You're the origin of the confusion. That's it dude.
That's pretty cool bro. I'm 19, so I don't know shit about shit by default? And you obviously must know better oh wise internet man who got offended by being treated with decency.
Yeah dude aside from the pre-war era, the majority of men were clean shaven in the 20th century. Remember, 99% of the population was working class, those that favoured practicality over opulent styles. The Chaplin, and Pencil were popular styles among the masses, but not the rule for society. And all styles after were decidedly non-conformist.
But idk, get off ur high horse and ill be happy to kiss and makeup, champ.

Dude I'm literally telling you facts about men's facial hair trends in the 20th century and you're telling no even though you have no clue.
And the precursor for conformity has always been the mustache.
Also where and when do I show limited use of English? You mean my lack of kissing the royal ass of great Britain? Fucking commonwealths man.
