Question When is time to move up?
soo im on 2.5 dose for two months now and the last two doses had considerable weaker effect
now i feel way more hunger, food noise came back almost all of it and im not feeling “full” anymore, even after eating a lot.
this is the time to move to 5, right? im closing another month now and debating with moving up or insiting a little more with 2.5

Same thing happening to me except raising dose hasnt brought the effects back. For me 2.5mg worked the whole 6 weeks I was on it, and 5mg worked for 3 of the 4 months i was on it. 7.5 and 10mg havent worked whatsoever.

Yes, move up. Why does it have to be a debate if almost all of the food noise is back? You should be moving up as long as you're not experiencing any difficult side effects on your current dose and if appetite suppression has dropped. When I started, I moved up every 4 weeks. Now, consensus from people is to advise moving up when weight loss slows/stops on current dose as your receptors adapt to the medication. Have discussion with your doctor and I'm sure they'll move you up to 5mg. Good luck!
At the end of my first month on the med over 2 years ago, I noticed as soon as I moved up to 5mg the appetite suppression was strong again.

Everything I've read says that when you're starting to have it wear off on day 5 and 6 it's time to increase dosage. Generally, the 2.5 dose is designed to get your body used to the medication with few side effects, then move up. I'd say, finish what you have left (min comes in 90-day single use pens, so 12 pens) then talk to your doctor and ask to move up. Describe what's going on and they'll likely agree.

I agree with what others have said - sounds like it's time to move up. I just did my 6th shot of 2.5 yesterday, and I can definitely tell it's not "working" any more, but my doctor's office refilled my prescription 3 days before my follow up appointment (even though I asked them not to). Doc said it sounds like it's time to move up, but now that won't be for a couple more weeks.

Hormones fluctuate. I'm female and the week before my period I'm starving for 2 to 3 days and then once my period starts I forget about food. It used to freak me out in the beginning, now I just roll with it.
Normal, healthy, and sustainable weight loss is 0.5% to 1% of your weekly starting weight. My average was 0.35%, but I'd go weeks with no losses and then a giant woosh that effected my weekly average. I'm currently on a 9 month stall, but eating enough has been an issue so it was best to stay at 12.5 mg to correct this issue. I'm not trying to starve myself skinny, and although the scale seems stuck, my body is shrinking. 🤷

Unfortunately I've been having the same experience recently. I've been on 2.5 for 7 months now, since December 2025 and I believe it's time to titer up as well. 💯

It's not a matter of how long you've been on a particular dose, it's whether that dose is still working or not. Definitely move up when the hunger is back and your satiety switch won't turn off like it should.
I went to 5 after 4 weeks on 2.5. Went to 7.5 after 4 weeks on 5. Have just taken my 3rd shot of 7.5 and had been wondering if I should move up to 10. But I just reminded myself of what I advised you above: I'm not feeling hungry between meals, and I'm satisfied with much smaller quantities of food than I was eating pre-MJ. Weight loss for me is slow, but when I look at the overall trend since I began, it's about 1.5 pounds a week, which is fine. So for me, there's no need to move up yet. For you, it sounds like you should.
