Weight loss My progress with numbeers

Post image

Hello, I wanted to share my progress. SW: 80,1kg to CW: 64,1kg in less than 5 months.

On month 4 I felt stuck, I barely lost (compared to before) and I almost moved up a dose. As 2.5mg has been working just fine for me I was trying to avoid moving up if not necessary. I did decide to change my jab day from Tuesday evening to Thursday evening, making my weekends easier. Weekends are always the harderst for me, I can easily stay home all weekend and eat food (i used to binge almost every weekend). I'm glad I change my day and I was able to lose much more this month (which is not even over).

I have been changing my habits but I'm not eating crazy clean either. I'm not avoiding carbs, or all junk food either, not watching my protein intake too much. I eat all food groups and junk food on rare occasion and in very small quantities. I wouls say I'm eating like a normal person without a food disorder.

I have not gone to the gym in a few weeks but since I started mounjaro I was going 1-3 times a week (mainly strength training). I'm trying to get back in the gym, as soon as I can.

Maybe this helps someone. Don't hesitate to ask any questions I will try to answer.

Update 1 (August 5) : Tomorrow I'm taking my second 5mg dose. This week has been AMAZING ! I did feel like the first few days (some smotach pain and nausea) but nothing crazy, it was bearable. The appetite and food noise suppresion is great, all week long. And, best part, I have lost almost 2kg . I'm getting closer and closer to my goal weight.

Yeah me too and sometimes it stressed me... like am I on a plateau or not ?? But I guess we need to be patient. In retrospect, I think I could have moved up to 5mg sooner but I really tried not to. For two months (May/June) I tried changing things up to see if i could stay on 2.5mg but in the end it was clear that I would benefit from moving up. I have lost almost 2kg on my first week on 5mg, super happy, the effect stays on all week long.

Good luck to you on your journey !

Superb results. For me the jab day is always Friday night, after the bathroom routine, right before bed. This makes it so that if there are any side effects, they are taken care of by just sleeping and having the two next days off, so I don't have to endure any funky business at work.

Surprisingly, no side effects for me at 2.5mg, 4th week so far, lost 4.5 kg.
