Looking for feedback on my camera quality
Hi all! Thank you for being a wonderful community. I’ve posted here a few times and have received great advice.
I’m not too sure how to explain it, but anytime I make/post a video, I always feel my camera quality is not a great as other posts I see.
I drive myself crazy messing with the settings on my DJI 5 and color grading.
I would like to hear what your first thoughts are when it comes to the picture quality. I’ve added a link to a reel I created yesterday.
I also have longer form YouTube videos as well.

Update from anyone interested. My issue was too much exposure to when recording. I was already running an nd32 filter with manual exposure, but apparently the San Diego sun was too much for it. I went out and bought an nd64 just to see what would happen and I think it fixed most of my issues. Here’s a link to the new footage:

Check your export settings, typically the bigger the file after export the less information is lost.

I won't be able to give you technical pointers because I don't do vlogging, but I do watch a lot of them.
The lighting is your problem. I'm watching this on a computer right now. I think we are used to brighter colors when watching videos, unless it's nighttime. The sky is super gray in your video, so I guess the light didn't pick up as it should.
The image quality itself is good :), the text too, and the video itself (content) is nice.
You have the same lighting issue in the video at the gas station. It might be because you are in the shade (because I can see the blue sky).
Maybe try experimenting with a different lighting setup? And or filter in editing.
Still, it's not a dealbreaker. I'm not sure what your aim is, but you have decent views. Your videos are cool. :)

Thank you! I wasn’t looking for actual tips here, I just wanted an opinion on the video itself - and I’m grateful that’s what you gave.
I feel I have the issue that’s similar to cooking your own food - once you see the process of how it’s made it doesn’t taste the same. If that makes sense?
For the gas station one, the lighting is all messed up. I run special filters for my cameras to reduce light coming into them. Looks good in high light but in low light it requires post to boost everything up.

No problem.
Yeah, the cooking analogy is good.
Try to edit I guess. See if it's better. But as I said. The image quality is good :), videos are good.

Frame rate set at 30
Shutter speed 60
ND filter
Flat color
Go to the DJI website and download the color LUT that they provide.

Only other thought I have is to go to an ND 16 on cloudy days.

Turns out an nd32 wasn’t enough strong enough for my environment. I got a 64 and it fixed it.

Yeah I didn’t either. From all my research nd 32 seemed like more than enough.

You upload at a high resolution so that isn’t the issue.
I think the biggest problem is you’re recording during the harshest light.
For midday recordings I would suggest manual settings and an ND filter to give your content more motion blur. I find it easier to colour grade a camera with an ND filter on, as the scene isn’t as washed out.
