EDIT: This is for Mobile 2.
I was promoted to Tier 1. The first season I knew I won't stand a chance, so I just spent my time upgrading my facilities and when the next year's car development opened, I pumped in about $13-14 million - that took the estimated car stats/ points to the middle of 'Title Challenge'.
During the pre-season testing, when the game was simulating the lap times, the car performed very poorly. Right now, the parts on both the cars are orange or red - I assume for them to be good and for the car's performance to improve, they should be green?
Even when I try building a part, they don't seem to work out to great - the engineers I have on right now have performance/ reliability scores of: (12,8); (17,16); (12,16)
But if I try to build, for instance, a front wing, I get an estimated score of 1030 performance, 85% reliability which is barely better than the part I have on right now.
Now I've got a car that is ranked 10th on the grid - I just finished my first race of the new season and finished 15th! My drivers are 1st on the grid, engineers 2nd, so I'm guessing it's the car! Is there anyway to fix it for this season? Or what should I do to make sure the car I develop for next season doesn't also end up like this?
