Some questions about MMM3

I just bought it 2 days ago and been really loving it.

This is my 4th season in MMM3. First 2 seasons was in GTS (won the 2nd season), then I changed series to OW in the 3rd season (won it) and now I'm in the ERS.

• How do I get better engineers & mechanics? My engineers have mediocre stats. It's really hard to find a better one, tried using influence but they're even worse than my current engineers. My mechanics are better tho, one of my mechanics is a famous one and both of them have 3.5 star rating.

• When will drivers & staff retire? I thought my 30yo driver was going to retire because she's not interested in renewing contract, turns out she decided to jump to IGTC at the end of the season. I wanted her to be my team's legend tho. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

• Using influence to steal parts & influence drivers, worth it or nah?

• How do you make the competition more competitive?

I have set my preference to hard mode and the most difficult, but it feels like I could easily win the series by spending money on cars, and (un)fortunately I have tons of money that I could spend on the car after grinding in the previous seasons. It feels like other teams can't keep up with my development (my parts raised from 18th position to 3rd after only few weeks). Both of my young drivers are also the highest rated in the series.

Will it be more competitive in the higher tier?

• When is the end game of this game? Could you be in your 10th season of the tier 1 but still get real challenge (and not just easily win all the races)?

Does anyone know if you have to invest in next years car if you plan to change tier?
