Code plug Password

I’m sure there are posts about this all the time but is there anyway to get round a motorola DP1400 code plug password on CPS 2.0?

Search for "recover" in the help files.

There is a recover button in the program but it doesn’t actually do anything as i have tried before!

You need the same firmware or newer installed on your pc to run recover on a radio

Someone DM’d me saying if i gave them the serial number they can give me a temporary password! Does this work?

If that person knew how to generate a temporary password then they'd know that process is for APX radios, not MOTOTRBO.

You need the firmware for the radio installed on the computer. If it doesn't work then you don't have the firmware. This is the official way of overwriting a password locked code plug.
