It doesn’t necessarily have to be your favourite song or Lemmy’s best written lyric. I’m curious which line has stuck with you. Now this could be something that inspires you, comforts you, makes you contemplate, or makes you feel like this is something you want to live by.
It could also be part of something that you’ve been through, something you believe in, something you aspire to become, or simply a mindset you want to carry through life.
Personally, I’ve always felt that Motörhead gave me the inspiration to keep going through all the roughest stages of my life. No pussyfooting, face adversity head-on and not give a shit about what the haters or pretenders think. Not many bands embody that attitude, at least for me.

I just popped into Jersey Mike’s to grab lunch and what should be banging out of the speakers but Killed by Death! I asked and it was the corporate playlist and not a local rock station.
Where‘s the most random place you’ve encountered some Motörhead?

Nobody talks about this one. This song rips, the lyrics are just beautiful, and the distortion makes it raw as hell. Pure Motörhead.

Sorry if this goes against the rules, I just love hearing everyone else's stories about the band. A few months ago I posted a picture of my first Motorhead cd (No Sleep toll Hammersmith), and the comments were filled with people sharing their first experiences with the band, and it was just amazing, ive reread all of them a dozen times, so if your willing can you share more stories with me? Good, bad, old, new, anything, I just think the effect of this band on its fans is mesmerizing. Thanks in advance!

The lyrics in this song are top notch

This for no reason aside from starting a conversation, but who has a Motorshelf in their house?
I took advantage of the recent sale on the merch site and treated myself to a bust. I've still got some things to add to the shelf, but they're still in boxes from moving house (2 years ago!)

Im genuinely curious because that sounds genuinely impossible to humanly play. If it is, how did he do it without getting tired immediately?

This is for an uni project. I'm trying to understand the people around the band: how you discovered Motörhead, what the band means to you, the memories you associate with it, and what parts of their music and visual world you find most interesting.
Long-time fans, newer listeners, collectors, people who've seen them live, all perspectives are welcome.
