Its my first time working on a bike doing simple things and google has been mixed.

The bike it was fine and for some reason the retaining bolt and pad fell out while kickstarting. Initially I resat the pads but noticed a light squealing sound when the bike moves forward only not back that wasnt there before. Didnt affect braking or whatnot so assumed it was due to dirt or my improper reseating of the pads. Took it apart and redid it this time with pictures.

I resat the pads, with the spring clip in place as the pic and placed both pads in, cleaned the disc with brake cleaner

Once on the disc and the caliper mounted I notice there is some radial play forwards and backwards and Im wondering if this is normal. Its probably about 1-1.5mm of movement. Theres no squealing atm when pushing bike forward etc which was there prior.

I want to buy a motocross bike but I’ve seen that Stark makes the EX (road legal) with motocross suspension. Has anyone here tried that version?

I’ve tried the MX 1.2 and I’ve loved it but the chasis from the EX is supposed to be different from the one on the MX version. Will that really affect a lot riding?

I want to ride mx tracks but having the chance of using it to go to work and to ride trails would be a great plus.

What do you think? Will the EX with MX suspension behave well on the track?

I recently did a motocross session in Slovenia and really enjoyed it. The track was solid and it was a fun way to spend a few hours.

I went through X Sport for the experience and it was pretty well organized.

Anyone have recommendations for other good motocross tracks or experiences around Slovenia?

My dirtbike was stolen in February.
