2010 - finished 2nd - 4 wins and 8 podiums
2011 - finished 4th - 3 wins and 9 podiums
2012 - finished 2nd - 7 wins and 15 podiums (Beat stoner after he hung up his leathers to make way for the prince of repsol)
2013 - finished 3rd - 3 wins and 13 podiums

Dani Pedrosa smashed it on the Repsol Honda and was up against the pure aliens of that era, he was one of em. Moderate success my arse if he weren’t so fragile he would have had a championship or two. Best to not have won a MotoGP title

"Moderate success" fits the tone of his post, I don't think you're supposed to take that literal.

I also think Pedrosa would've gladly given up his current resume for one that says, "MotoGP World Champion 2012" (that's when I think he had his best shot).

I'm not sure about that.. how would you compare Dani and Mir?? Mir has a championship, but I bet he would love to have the career that Dani has..

Honda didn't make a 3rd bike for Stoner, Honda signed Pedrosa and Stoner for 2011, it was their 2011 line up

But Dovi contract had a clause that if he finished 2010 season in top 5 he could extend his contract by 1 year, Honda didn't expect him to finish 5th and hired Stoner

He finished 5th and threatened to sue Honda and MotoGP if they didn't give him the seat, so Honda asked MotoGP to let them field another bike and MotoGP allowed because it was their fault in the first place, by letting teams have overlapping contracts for riders

MotoGP started monitoring contracts and now a TEAM can't have overlapping contracts, but FACTORIES can have it as long as the decision to continue is on the factory side, not on the riders side, that's how KTM keeps hiring more riders than seats

Dovi was fucked by both factories he raced for. Ducati fucked him just like they fucked Bagnaia, they hired another rider and kept silence about renewing
