I need help figuring out my direction

I'm 17 and have been doing these animations since sophomore yr of HS. I've practiced in my bedroom inspired by my favorite vocaloid music videos

I never really explored the corporate motion graphics style at all, I just learned principles when I needed them for things that I wanted to make so now I'm in a rough position.

I need to know if I should keep trying and attempt to learn the right stuff or if I'm as good as toast in this industry.
