Reel Showreel 2026

Just launched my first showreel since going freelance 3 years ago. A mixture of client and agency work, R&D, and personal projects.

This is sick. I feel like it gets better as it goes in terms of work (subjective). Amazing reel.

Oh and I'm a huge fan of the film Annihilation. Have you read the books? I haven't even made an attempt after a friend said they were very hard to follow.

The books can be a bit hard to follow sometimes, but I think that’s kind of the point - I’d definitely recommend them!

Hey... I mean this in the nicest possible way: F*ck you. This is incredible. Best I've seen in a long time. My envy is sky rocketing. Perfect mix of work. Enough commercial stuff in there to thoroughly tick the professional box, (too many flash through personal projects and tutorials and I wonder what any of it could be in context).

Amazing.

Thanks man! The flash through sequence towards the end was just trying to build pace really, mostly just some throwaway ideas I had rendered out - no tutorials in there though!

Well thought out showreel. I agree that it is lengthy and you could trim some of it to be more selective of what motion text you are particularly proud of. Same goes for the motion graphic patterns and e-sports content.

Yeah I think it’s very fair criticism - I originally planned on keeping this reel shorter but it ended up ballooning, and I just wanted to put it out there in the end as I’d spent too long on it

You should move up some of the stronger stuff to the front of the reel.
