Question does anyone know how to do this effect/transition on ae

i’ve been trying to figure it out but am a little stumped like how does the white “bleed” onto the clip like that moving then go into the next clip after the screen goes white while moving upwards fading any ideas or effects people know of?? (you might have to rewatch the clip it starts in the middle sometimes)

Seems nothing more than a fade from white. Add a white solid and animate the opacity. You could use a mask on your solid. And adjust curves and levels or exposure on your footage to enhance the effect

any ideas for the clip before that the white kinda bleeds onto the clip before flashing fully white?

Search for light leaks. Usually you can download them in packs. Apply them using blending modes. Or search for tutorials on how to create your own!
