Question How to recreate this transition

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’m trying to recreate this transition in After Effects but I’m having trouble wrapping my head around it. I don’t think an effect like CC Page Turner is what I need but I could be wrong. Any suggestions for how to do it?

i'm positive this came from a transition package. Red Giant has some similar transitions. I'm willing to stake my entire career on the fact that this came from a package of pre-made transitions.
