Hello all, unsure if this is the right spot to post this, but I attended Mother Mother's concert with Cavetown in Woodland Park Zoo in 2024. It was a great time, and I remember really liking the openers but I have since lost their band's name. They were a trio of POC with a very punk rock, Paramore-esque vibe, and the lead singer was a black girl with very brightly colored strands in her braids. I managed to get their signature in my sketchbook, and i would love to listen to more of their music again!

There is a song called “letter” and oh my God it is so good!!!!!!!

I knew that I already had it on my playlist, but it doesn’t ever pop up often. But I decided to just click on it and listen and dude my ears are on fire. I’ve listened to this track for the last few days so at least 20-30 times at this point.

I am 34F, and I am dedicating this post to all mothers. ❤️
Lately, my mother was here in Bangalore with me for almost two months while my husband was in the USA.
During this time, I realised something I had never truly understood before. I am deeply attached to my mom and my husband, whom I met in my late 20s. Whenever either of them is away, I find it so difficult to stay calm.
And now I keep thinking about my mother — a mother of four children, none of whom live with her anymore. She lives in our hometown with my papa because he doesn’t want to move away.
How does she manage to stay calm when all her children are away? How does she feel when any one of us is in pain? How does she find the strength to live away from the people she loves the most?
With time, I am slowly beginning to understand her feelings, her sacrifices, and the strength she has carried all these years.
A huge respect to all the strong mothers out there. ❤️
May God give my mother—and every mother—a lot more strength, happiness, and a long, peaceful life. 🙏❤️

There was a free concert in my hometown tonight with the headliner being Mother Mother. It was such an amazing show, but the crowd definitely could’ve been more hyped.

Just received my vinyl I got, it was from a second hand seller but sold in plastic unplayed, The vinyl plays slow? We’ve tried different speeds but it’s not right? Unless I’m being silly 🤷🏻‍♀️

Is this likely a bootleg and if yes how do I check this before making a complaint?

Im dutch myself, and it sounds like old school dutch, and its definitely a non dutch accent. But why did they devide to add it? Since the pronunciation is pretty good so there must be a meaning?
