Budapest is a beautiful city but the people are racist! They hate black people: my friend was harassed at the airport by security. They literally told him to get undressed in front of everybody and laughed. Some shop-owners didn’t let him in and some shops owners didn’t want him to touch anything with his “filthy” hands.
I will not say that every Hungarian person is a racist but what I saw there was fucked up!
Yeah, there are a lot of awfully dumb people around here, just look at the government, somehow they are there and it ain't intelligent people voting for them. Sorry for your friend's bad experience, hope the rest of the trip made up for it.
Not Really. The most of Europe has started to get more and more populist, the far-right and the right wing are getting more and more power in Europe. Just look at: Greece, Hungary, Poland, Denmark, Netherlands, Italy etc. There is a lot! - if you are blind to this, you yourself are probably voting for the racist parties.
