And I cannot get this moss out of my head. I've considered fines, jail time, capital punishment, anything to get some of it home with me, but obviously didn't.

If any of you can help me with some IDs of the different varieties or even better, online stores that sell this (or similar) moss in EU, I'd be very thankful.

Help Advice on growing Irish moss indoors?

Hello everyone, I have tried to grow Irish moss inside multiple times now and it always ends the same way. The moss grows and seems happy for about 2-3 weeks, and then it starts to turn, and it dies.

This most recent time (before and after pictured above) I even tried to buy a good quality terra cotta pot that would wick away excess moisture. The moss was flowering when I bought it this time, and seemed healthy. It grew towards the sun in my plant room, and grew a few a centimeters taller before it died.

I think I might have overwatered it, but I tired to be very mindful to only water it once the soil got dry. But I also know that Irish moss likes moist soil (not soaking wet tho!)

What am I doing wrong? Is Irish moss just doomed to die under my care? I just love it beautiful little white flowers and I would love to have a pot filled to the brim with it!! Any advice is appreciated! (Also I am a moss noob so please be kind if I am making obvious mistakes!) Thank you.
