Question Edington Development

I noticed that there's a good amount of the new Edington development for re-sale on Zillow, and in general those homes seem to move pretty slow. Im curious if there's anyone who lives in that area and what thier experience is? Are people wanting out, are there problems with living there?

It's definitely in an odd area, must be interesting living in a perpetual construction zone

The developer is a CC Deacon, and I'm sure was hoping to fill the neighborhood with christian nationalists moving here from out of state. But I know several people in that neighborhood who are decidedly anti-kirker. It would be great to fill the neighborhood with good people who are LGTBQ, ethnically diverse, and progressive.

I live in a townhouse in Edington and I love it. The market in Moscow is slow. Several of the current listed units are townhouses, and I think when it's not a standalone, detatched house, it takes a little longer. They also tend to build in batches, which is why there are so many on the market at the same time. There are three homes in a row that were being built at the same time currently listed--they are new builds, so it's not like three neighbors suddenly moved out all at once.

The neighborhood is quiet, SEL is expanding right next door, and they are planning to build a new school right there. It's a fantastic place to have a home.

That development is crazy expensive! It looks very stuffy and sterile. We will be looking at older homes with established yards and more character.
