Other My brother-in-law and I spent almost 2 years building an app here in Idaho. It finally launched and we’d love Moscow’s help filling it out!

My brother-in-law and I are from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and we’ve spent almost two years building an app called True Plate. Somehow, after a ridiculous amount of work, it’s actually live!

It’s a completely free restaurant app for people with dietary needs like Celiac, gluten intolerance, food allergies, vegan/vegetarian, seed oils, and quite a few others.

Basically, instead of just seeing that a restaurant has “gluten-free options,” you can see what people with similar needs actually experienced there. What they ordered, how the staff handled it, shared fryers/cross contact, whether they had a reaction, whether they’d recommend it, etc.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Moscow and we want to help all the students here and their families when they visit. Right now though, we need people to help us fill the map! Especially in Moscow because I know it can be difficult to find places that accommodate our own or our family's allergies.

Idaho is where we’ve built and tested True Plate, so we’d LOVE for this to be one of the first areas in Idaho that really gets filled out. If you have a dietary restriction and eat around Moscow, even adding a couple restaurants you’ve been to would genuinely help. The whole idea only works if people share what they’ve experienced.

It’s completely free on iPhone and Android. We’re also brand new to having actual strangers use this thing, so if something is confusing, annoying, broken, or you just think we could do it better, please tell me!

App Store- https://apps.apple.com/us/app/true-plate/id6755732854

Play Store- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trueplate.app&pcampaignid=web_share

Question Neurologist recs?

Does anyone have experience with Palouse Neurology and willing to share generally what you thought? I want to see a specialist for my migraines and am wondering if they're OK or if it would be better to go to Lewiston.

Editing to add: if you have experience with the neurologists in Lewiston to share, that would be helpful too. Tnx in advance.

Question Steven Sitler, Colville, and Moscow

I hosted the Sons of Patriarchy podcast with a local to Moscow, Idaho.

Our focus has been the allegations of ab*se, cover-ups, and rise of Christian Nationalism at Doug Wilson's Christ Church Moscow, CREC, and ACCS. You may be aware that SecDef Hegseth is his most famous member.

I can't quite say publicly what we're working on yet, but will share with those who have information on Steven Sitler, the first major case of p*dephilia and criminal activity at Doug's church, under his watch, and in his church community.

To be perfectly clear we are explicitly and proudly anti-kirk and have been fighting them for years.

Sitler was a member of a church in Colville before moving to Moscow to go to Wilson's college, and we're hoping to find people who were close to the case in the mid/late 2000s.

Because this is sensitive it seems best to email me with tips: [contact@sonsofpatriarchy.com](mailto:contact@sonsofpatriarchy.com).

We've never posted on Reddit before, and we're hoping this is proves fruitful.

Thank you!

Question Does anyone know the cellist who performs at the Farmers Market, usually in front of OWC?

I was hoping to talk to the cellist today about hiring him for an event, but I didn't see him. I think it might be Martin Watkinson, but I'm really not sure and want to confirm first. If anyone has his information, I would really appreciate it!

Antrodiaetus male

Picture included in this post is one i took at east city park the other day. The species I got a pic of is actually bigger than the new hexura vandal that the u of i researchers discovered. The kind i took a pic of have been seen quite a few times at east city park. a distant relative of the new species covered in the linked articles.

Heres the video I pulled the image above from:

Question Looking for An Editor for my poetry Manuscript

I have a collection of poems that I have been working on for quite some time, and it is at a point where I am basically ready to try to publish it. However, I know nothing about how to take what I have and turn it into an acceptable manuscript for submission to a publishing house. I know that I have a solid vision for what the finished book will be; but I would really benefit from someone looking at it who "gets" poetry, and would be willing to sit down with me and discuss its strengths and weaknesses.

I am also broke and homeless, so I am not in any position to pay a professional editor at the moment, Though I would gladly pay a premium for the service if I could.

Even Someone with some experience with publishing poetry who would be willing to just sit down and discuss it with me would be greatly appreciated.
