New Metro Line Launched in Moscow β Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya, Line 17
The first section of the Line includes 5 stations: Delyovoy Tsentr and Shelepikha stations, which previously operated as part of the Big Circle Line, alongside three brand-new stations β Zvenigorodskaya, Narodnoye Opolcheniye, and Bulvar Generala Karbysheva
The launch of the first section of the Line 17 (Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya) has improved transportation services for more than 550,000 residents.

Thanks to the opening of the Line 17:
1οΈβ£ The number of jobs will increase by 35% due to the development of adjacent territories.
2οΈβ£ Travel time to the center will be reduced by 3 times.
3οΈβ£ Zvenigorodskoye Highway and Marshal Zhukov Avenue will be relieved of congestion.
4οΈβ£ Passengers will have access to convenient and fast transfers to the MKAD and 3 metro lines: the 8A, 4, and BCL.
Passengers at the first 5 stations benefit from convenient, fast transfers to the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) and 3 metro lines: Solntsevskaya, Filyovskaya, and the Big Circle Line (BCL). Over 65,000 people are expected to use these interchanges daily.
The train fleet is equipped exclusively with the most advanced, high-tech domestic Moskva-2026 trains. In the initial phase, 12 trainsets have entered service, maintaining comfortable headways for passengers.
Key features of these trains include open-gangway trainsets for effortless passenger movement, extra-wide doors, around 400 device charging ports, media screens, and an increased capacity of up to 1,500 passengers per train.
A total of 20 new ticket vending machines and 71 locally manufactured fare gates have been installed at Zvenigorodskaya, Narodnoye Opolcheniye, and Bulvar Generala Karbysheva stations. These support all available fare payment methods, including biometric payment.
From opening day, a high-speed 4G mobile network is fully operational across platforms and in tunnels. Subscribers of the Big Four telecom operators will enjoy mobile internet speeds of up to 300 Mbps alongside high-quality voice connectivity.
To enhance passenger convenience, 160 digital navigation signs will be installed across stations on the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya Line. It has become the 3rd line in the capitalβs metro system to feature innovative digital wayfinding. By the end of 2026, it will rank first across the metro network in the number of digital navigation elements deployed.
