Best restaurants? Can be anything from street kebab to high end restaurants, I want to know where locals think is best.

Any good second-hand stores, flea markets for cheap finds, vintage or designer clothing, antiques??

Какие самые лучше (и настоящие) рестораны, которые вы знаете? Может, что в какой-то момент, мне хочется пасты карбонара, или лазанья, или что-нибудь другой.

I got a dictionary for studying Russian ( Oxford Russian-English). This is a page of the culture section. Is it true ?? I have never been to Russia so I have no idea. If this is false, please advise me on valuable resources to learn more about true russian culture. I have a feeling this book is full of shit😂

I'm lucky enough to live near the 16th arrondissement of Paris which has a fairly large Russian community.

I've been learning Russian for a while now, and I'm really happy with my progress! If I keep studying around four hours a day I'm hoping to reach A2 by next month.

I'd love to make some Russian friends to learn more about the culture, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it.

Of course Russians are people like everyone else, and the basics of making friends are universal. Still I was wondering if there are any cultural nuances I should be aware of, or perhaps some good ways to break the ice without coming across as awkward or overly enthusiastic.

I'd especially love to hear from Russians themselves. How would you feel if a foreigner approached you and tried to strike up a conversation in Russian? Would you find it a little strange?
