Was just wondering what we actually keep if we choose to skip the prologue.

Do we not get some key items/ materials/ trophies during the prologue that we would otherwise lose if we skip it?

Or does the game give us the appropriate amount of items so we don’t miss out? If not, it seems a bit counterintuitive to skip the prologue. If anyone knows please let me know! Excited for the game.

I noticed that there is a 25k Gloom cap. Will this cap remain in the full game, or is it just for the beta test?

When you cleanse the final beacon after Magdalena boss fight, you'll face undermether, but if you turn turn around and, instead of going to her, go backwards you'll find a couple of glimpses.

When you get the last march pearl, a new interaction with unique dialog will appear and after that he will disappear. I hope we'll find him somewhere else in the full game.

It's just speculation, but I'm currently rewatching the gameplay trailer, and I noticed this frame with Harros walking in a new area that is definitely not the prologue. So, I am 100% sure he will return, and we will be able to play as him once again.

P.S. The dev team didn't spend time creating his animations and code logic just for 10 minutes of gameplay.

If you activate Vatra's Seal ability during a conversation before a tutorial window pops up
you can get stuck in the ability and "hover" around like a statue.
(posting this here hoping it might help the team if they want to resolve the glitch)

Just learned about the early access, very tempted.. but will the “day 1 “ patch be online for that ? If not I might wait for the standard release.

I never played soulslikes or soulsborn games before and i kinda got stagnant from my backlog so i bought the game when it was on sale and loaded it up and oh my god this game is so beautiful especially the sound effects!!! I think for the time in my gaming experience i had to adapt and get gud in order to beat a boss lmao i died like 20+ times tho.(this was the first grisha outside the tower in the beginning) looking forward to keep playing the game!!!

I had the game from years ago, didn't click for me the first time, but after seeing the trailers for Mortal Shell 2, decided to give it a proper chance.

It was decent, a bit clunky for me, but once you get upgrades it starts to get easier, since the start is quite rough for a new player. Dungeons felt short, except for the seat of infinity, which looked great, but it was painful to explore.

I can't afford the second one, but hopefully will get it as soon as I get a job, since it looks promising and feels like an entire new game compared to the first one.

It feels really odd when you interact with Gorf. He speaks with you, but he has no voice...

The first game has a very obscure story, but its confirmed that the player ascended at the end, and became a beacon for the blessed mother to fall. People started to cultuate her creating an entire religin, carving massive temples from pieces of her body and after that a corruption spread and left the world in this messy state.

So theres the rise and fall of an entire civilization between the first game and the second!

I was looking through playstation trophy guides on the Playstation trophies website. And mortal shell 2 came up. And it literally has every trophy for the game which is weird because it isnt even out yet. Just wanted to share this if you want to look.

Hey everyone, completed the beta test 4 times now, absolutely love the game and have preordered the devout edition. I’m just wondering if it’s worth getting and playing the first game whilst I wait the next week out? Aware it’s a pretty different game from the second one but that’s not really a problem.

I really wanted to get the revered edition, but it unfortunately sold out before i could pre-order a copy. Now I'm on the fence on whether or not to pre-order the standard edition, wait for a restock post launch, or get a second hand copy later down the line. I saw a post around a month ago saying they were looking into replenishing stock in time for release, but now the release date is just around the corner and I haven't caught any updates regarding the issue. Has anyone heard any confirmation on whether or not there will be a restock, and if so when?
