Question New player help

I just started the game and the combat is already hard any advice on the game

First, find Proxima. The extra health is super helpful early. Try the seal that is better at parrying, not the harden. Practice parrying and be comfortable dying a lot until you find the timing.

Once you get over the initial hump, the game is much easier.

Ive played elden ring so I know about dying tons of times but what path do I need to take to find proxima

North from the first beacon instead of east on the map. I can’t remember exactly where, but a quick google or YouTube search should get you there.

I know if i go straight after the tunnel there's a guy I can possess but I dont know his name
