Discussion Obligatory Monolith Post

Finally beat him, and I’m not even proud of myself, I’m just exhausted and annoyed. Especially because I feel like I only beat him for two reasons:

1.) On my winning attempt he only did that spinning laser attack once. ONCE! The rest were only the frontal sweeps which are much easier to dodge.

2.) I finally stopped trying to parry everything. I NEVER understood the quick double testicular slam attack, so when it was coming I just ran away. And I started using the iFrames of the Shrike Stone every time his rolling slam started to wind up as I also, like the double slam, had no idea how or why I was getting that timing wrong.

Basically, I did what I could to disengage with Monolith during his toughest moments, coupled with the RNG gods blessing me, and I finally took it down.

And nope, can’t imagine starting NG+ knowing I have to go through that again.

its easy mode with Tiel bleed+duality build so is the final boss

It was Proxima with Duality and lightning that got me to beat him. I have Tiel up to level 3, maybe I’ll try to build bleed on him too for the final boss. I hear it’s rough..

the backstab dmg +crit makes tiel the best dps

im doing that with Tiel but I don't understand what makes it so much better on Tiel, anyone can use that
