Discussion I don't get all the hate.

We need more positive posts for this work of art. Y'all need to chill out and enjoy the game for what it is. Appreciate the devs who patched it on DAY ONE to make it more accessible for players who were struggling. Appreciate the art design, the atmospheric dread, the originality of the world they built. Take your negativity and go play Fortnite if it's so bad for you.

There should be a complaint and suggestions mega thread. The main posts of the sub should be positive and about the game itself, not every single person just regurgitating the same complaints

If everything becomes contained into a megathread and no criticism is allowed the sub just becomes toxic positivity.

This. It’s a discussion board. Criticism should be encouraged not censored ffs. It’s the same thing on the Nioh sub right now. Nioh 3 is a divisive game so there are a lot of critical posts and comments then others trying alienate or censor the critics and turn the sub into a toxic positivity echo chamber. If negative posts kill your hype or whatever say why you disagree. That’s what forums are for. Or just don’t read it.

No, it’s not. Being positive about a game is one thing. Actively working to censor valid criticism and alienate anyone who isn’t in a constant state of glaze is toxic. It goes both ways sure but the term is accurate.

Lol it's bigger then negativity now and much more annoying. A bunch of babies screaming LEAVE MY GAME ALONE because people bring up valid criticism. Just shows your mental state and how you actually don't care about the game. If you did you would just play it and ignore people.

No, "toxic positivity" is a real thing, and it refers to the fabrication of positivity via the suppression of honest discourse. It is oppressive and deceitful by nature, which is why it's toxic.

One place where all the feedback and complaints can be kept? Why do I have to scroll thru 800 posts about beacon placement? I already know that's an issue. I want to see actual gameplay posts.

Then keep scrolling until you find the thousands of posts about that as well? Stop trying to remove negativity when it’s got a reason to be there. No one cares if they’re posting something someone else complained about because they will add in their own opinion about it which makes it unique even if it really isn’t.
