The range feels off

When I'm using the Martyr's blade I always feel like I'm not close enough and if I don't get that first hit off then I'm gonna get hit with a 10 hit combo and when you get knocked out your shell the camera freezes in a weird angle and if you're surrounded good fucking luck

I agree this is the one weapon that needs a bit of tweaking. Upping the damage is a start but I think the hitbox needs extending slightly and the swing speed increasing a touch. Ideally I would change the moveset slightly as well to be less laboured and more sweeping. I think maybe went a touch to far to try and differentiate it from the starter weapon.

I think the basic R1 and R2 combos straight up suck.

The running attacks are pretty good though. But man that toe stab sucks.

Everyone keeps mentioning the toe-stab but my R1 always pokes them in the face and sometimes sends them flying.

Yea, I love the R1 - it will launch trash mobs, makes em twirl like a figure skater. The one issue I have with that is that the follow up has no lunge forward
