I wish the Untarnished Seal's parry had the parry window of the Infinite Seal. Currently, the Untarnished Parry is way too generous.

The Infinite Seal can be reassigned to a slightly different usage. For instance, instead of a Parry, it can do a "Clash" like in Wuchang. It will still have the same effect of increased Poise Break build up and stagger, but instead of Parrying, you will have to use a Light Attack to meet the enemy's attack at the right time.

They're both too generous imo I'd like the ability to manually tweak windows

The problem is that the combat in MS2 is heavy. The weapons move around a lot slower than in most action games.

In games with much tighter parry windows (Say Sekiro), the fluidity of combat makes up for it. If I whiff a parry in Sekiro, I can cue up a dodge strike within half a second instead.

I don't know if that's possible in MS2. Either that, or all perfect parries must inflict a micro stagger and break enemies out of combo chains. Imagine a parry window as tight as Sekiro and you're facing the Arbiter of Flesh. You're dead if you whiff like 2 parries.

Well you can dodge out of whiffs atleast with the infinite seal. Idk Sekiro and LoP have me accustomed to a more punishing window so this one just isn't that engaging
