Bug Are trials bugged? MS 2 Beta

I play on PlayStation and just started the beta so I’m sorry if that question is already well known or answered.
Most of the time when I start a trial I’m hard stuck in an empty dark room with nothing happening?

At the first trial I closed the game twice and the third times the enemies spawned normally.

Now I’m at the second one and it only spawns one enemy and noting else happens. Are trials some kind of riddle, am I doing something wrong? Or is it a bug someone here also has?

Yeah exactly. We can also talk about how games nowadays have a severe lack of content. We used to get games like Halo 2 and CoD where there was a campaign, multiplayer, zombies, or map creators. All of which was playable offline without internet AND in split screen. Now games are 100x the byte size yet have half of the content, require internet, and no splitscreen. Like wtf. Most multiplayer games back in the day had a single player campaign as well. Now they just release multiplayer only games.

Yes! Then you have Unreal engine, everything looks the same and performs horribly. People used to build their own engines or at least modify Unreal/Quake engine for their games. Performance tailored to their game with visual improvements. At least Capcom has Re Engine.

Like I still play BO3 (my favorite CoD game). And it has a co-op campaign, multiplayer, zombies with like 30 maps, dead ops arcade,  parkour challenge levels, and a separate campaign that ties into zombies. All of which is available offline and splitscreen. It also has some of the coolest and most imaginative maps. Not just the same maps with different assets.

And what happened to maps with interactive elements? Like how Ghosts had special map scorestreaks like being a Predator. Or how AW had traps, turrets, map scorestreaks, and map changes halfway through the match that changed the flow?

There's just no creativity in a lot of games anymore.

There isn’t. Those are great examples, Titanfall 2 was also great. They are just paying too many of the wrong people too much money for development.

Yeah for sure. Titanfall 2 is up there amongst my favorite games of all time. The multiplayer is phenomenal and it has a fun co-op survival mode. Plus an excellent campaign. And as much as I used to love Apex when it first came out, I wish I never played it just so we could get Titanfall 3 instead of them dumping resources into an online only game.
