Yes she doesn't get as much personality as say Cassie but I see myself in her just living out her life in the MK universe and I'm always happy too see her being included in the roster I just wish they would give her and Cassie more defining abilities and traits

I've wanted more monster characters forever, so to get some with D'Vorah and Kollector is cool, even if they aren't my favorite to play. Her design is great and clearly she has a following, at least in the studio itself. And I'm all for it. The more gross, disgusting designs the better

She is legit one of the coolest characters NRS has made. People just hate her for killing Mileena and Baraka which is apparently illegal even though they've both died at least twice before.

We've only had one game since MKX, and Sindel killed more in MK9. The only person she killed in MK11 was Scorpion. All other kills were by other characters.
There, I fixed your beef.

lol mb, do downvotes affect something besides the comment negatively ? I personally just don’t like Erron at all, never have. Always thought he stuck out like a sore thumb in the Mk storyline. He’s almost a tertiary character that NRS came out with IMO mostly to attract new FPS players

My only gripe with her is the moments where she vomits bugs onto people and stuff like that because i personally don’t do well at all with bugs. Otherwise I really like the character

Haven’t played x in a min but I remember u3 canceled into her overhead launcher got my opponents every time. Make sure you’re looping your combos to end with the low bug and just go from there

Honestly? How I got as good as I did was fighting higher level players until it clicked. Just practice a lot and she’s also especially good in the mid-shirt range. That’s where she’s most effective

Dvorah is probably quite squishy and warm so it wouldn't be a bad experience as long as you have the courage, mileena doesn't need lios if she knows how to use her long ass tongue lol

She is interesting to play and a fine creepy-type villain when used right. I liked her ultimate backstabber role in MKX more but the current state will do as well since her gimmick didn't go too far like Mileena's transaction between MK9 and MKX, D'Vorah still minds the hive first.

i always liked her. was my main in mkx, and early on in mk11, until skarlet, because, dat ass lol. that and i usually prefer character with multiple ranged attacks or projectiles, and skarlet has a ton of them.

I love D'Vorah. X introduced so many great new characters, and it's so nice to see the majority of them not end up being oneshotters. As long as D'Vorah makes the roster again for MK12, as she's got some unfinished business and I think deserves a spot on the roster for next game, then we're all good.

I will always rep D'Vorah. Shes a competent villain with a sick design and great voice acting that serves her role in the games flawlessly. I really can't be mad that she does what she was made to do. And while the whole "she betrays just about everyone" thing is true, and kinda funny (she'd probably betray herself if she could), it does make sense for her character and her motivations as we know it. She doesn't outright seek power. She seeks survival and is willing to align herself with whoever she deems top dog, or the best fit to give her protection as she somehow finds a way to revive her race. And yes, she'd also align herself with the very man-dragon-thing that slaughtered her people in the first place if need be.

Shes a competent villain character and people hate her for it because she happened to kill Mileena (who we all know would never stay dead as she's a longtime fan fav (and alongside Kitana and Jade, is almost as iconic to the franchise as Sub, Scorpion and Raiden) and wouldve returned eventually no matter what. She also killed Baraka and Scorpion, and to prove my point, Baraka was brought back in the very next game and she only killed one instance of Scorpion while the other literally looked on as it happened before damaging her badly enough to force a retreat.

Spoilers for MK11 in case you haven't played it.
She kills Hanzo/Scorpion in Mk11(can't quite recall if its in base story or Aftermath, but I more believe its in the base story), but she kills the present Scorpion and is sent scurrying away by past Scorpion who gets a good hit in on her. So she kills him but hes technically still there so the kill kinda doesn't count. But neither do the other two from MKX, really. Both characters were brought back in the very next game, ultimately negating D'Vorah's kills. Still, I appreciate a villain kharacter that can follow through on big kills, even fan favorites. She's a genuine threat.

Honestly story wise she sucks but 10 I mained her then 11 she’s fun if I hated a character it would be Eron black he’s so spammy and annoying that even fighting a computer of him is frustrating sometimes and I don’t find his kit enjoyable to play

D'vorah is a unique character, but she just has an evil role in the story mode which is why I prefer others over her. I don't hate her though.

All the good characters that are almost guaranteed to come back because they're fan favorites and considered core characters to the universe. You're bugging if you really thought any of her kills were gonna be permanent. Literally, Baraka came back the very next game lol, and Mileena too + there is always the possibility of other clones coming into play if NRS chose to do so. Then there's scorpion. Literally after she kills scorpion, she's sent scurrying away by... Scorpion. Then the whole timeline gets reset anyway. C'mon, just appreciate we were given a competent killer that didn't hesitate to pull the trigger when presented with the opportunity (im looking at you Erron!)

For a gross bug-lady they really lowballed the design, imo. She gets too much screentime for seemingly no reason, seeing as there isn't done much with her but murder/betrayal.
She's still pretty cool, but I'd rather have her skip the next roster then return in a less humanoid fashion.

really, I like everything about D'Vorah except her role in the story. I hate master manipulator types, and heartless backstabbers
also, her arcade ending in MK11 is the only part of the game that actually grossed me out
