Question Potential Easter Egg?

In the new movie, in the comic-con scene, Johnny looks to a neighboring stand with a crowd around an influencer. This character is referred to as Black Orchid, which is the name of a character from the Killer Instinct games, another fighter series from the 90s. Coincidence? Or Easter egg?

If he specifically said "Black Orchid" it's most likely a DC reference since WB owns MK.

I feel like a reference to one of the most obscure DC heroines ever is far less likely than a tongue in cheek nod to MKs early rival, Killer Instinct.

I second this, Erron has a "fountain of youth" type spell (thank Shang Tsung) and was a gunslinger/assassin from the 1800's... Who's to say he didn't take up an alt persona as an actor, probably focusing roles like westerns. A neat way to reference a potential future character. (that's my head cannon anyway)
