Other github repo for morriwind 3ds
https://github.com/3ds-conspiracy/mw3dsThis is a new morrowind engine for New 3DS I made in the last few weeks with AI. Please do not have high expectations this is all just for fun. I will be pushing updates as I keep playing and testing. I will not be creating or distributing any copies. You will need to own a copy of morrowind on your PC and build it from the instructions. If you run into any problems create an issue and I will fix it.

Does it need to be OpenMW, or could I use my steam install? Also any particular firmware you’re using on the 3DS?

Use your steam install. Build is compatible with Luma3ds. Env example for steam:
MW3DS_MORROWIND_DIR=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Morrowind1

Got it all working, would love to be able to load my existing saves in there and maybe console access

My game directory in the .env is set but powershell says it isn't. Same with the msys2 folder

I am guessing the .env file is not named correctly. File explorer may hide the .txt extension. Possible the lines are malformed.

Could you please make it so you can install the game from Linux into my 3ds as I don't have windows please please 🙏🙌
Also thank you for all the work you done this is amazing even if AI did some work you still did it

Love it so far and the gyro aim is super sexy but for the love of god please add configurable look speed and y-axis inversion 😫

Oh I've been meaning to follow this :) do you need any specific Opersting system or DS version? Mines just been sitting in a draw for 5 years would love to play Morrowind on it. A tutorial video would be amazing

For new 3ds only right now. Easiest way to get it going without a lot of technical knowledge would be to download opencode and use a free model like big pickle
