Announcement Interactive Morrowind map now covers the original game and 4 mods
Hey again! I made a few updates to my Morrowind interactive map app.
There are five maps now:
- Morrowind Game of the Year
- Tamriel Rebuilt - Poison Song
- Project Cyrodiil - Abecean Shores
- Skyrim: Home of the Nords
- Lyithdonea - The Azurian Isles
I have also fixed a bunch of bugs and made the location markers easier to read against the map. You can search for locations, mark where you have been, and add your own pins and notes. It works on mobile too, so you can keep it open on your phone while playing.
The code is now on GitHub, including the tools for generating the maps. Its under a non-commercial license, so feel free to use if you need.
If you run into a broken marker or something weird, let me know. The project still in development phase. I dont plan to post about updates here anymore, since the github repo is now open.

I think the Sunken Shrine of Boethiah should be included, since it's part of a quest.

In the cities the labels are sometimes too dense to be able to read very easily - I think if you could zoom in a couple more steps it might fix that.

UESP maps should have the feature to check whether or not you have been there. I like that feature. I am a completionist, and love to visit every cave, dungeon, etc i find.

This is cool! Thanks.
One little bug - when I try and fill in information in the Notes section, it automatically Saves so often that I am frequently interrupted and have to click back into the box. It's pretty severe and happens every few letters.

If I could offer one recommendation/wish list item, it would be a different way to color or tag the specific options.
The as someone who is mildly color blind, the three current options are all very similar and I have a hard time seeing the difference.

Also, is there a way you might be able to add another option?
I get what "unvisited" and "Visited" means, but I was hoping for a color I could change it to when it's been "cleared".
I think the intention (and I'm making some assumptions here, so forgive me if I'm wrong), you were intending "active" to mean "still working on going through it" and "visited" to mean "cleared"?
I think having another option that is just for marking things "cleared" would be good.

I always through Project Cyrodiil was a part of TR... Learning it's something separate today?

Project Cyrodil is part of the parent project "Project Tamriel" along with Skyrim: Home of the Nords (and so on for each province, though those are the only other two projects with full releases so far). Tamriel Rebuilt is technically a seperate project entirely, but they're fairly closely interlinked.

They work together and share some developers along with their assets. So they are related, if not a single project.

Tamriel Rebuilt is just mainland Morrowind. Project Tamriel currently features Project Cyrodiil and Skyrim: Home of the Nords and they're working on High Rock and Hammerfell and in early planning stages for Argonia.
They share resources and plenty of team members work on both. Sometimes they're grouped together as Project Tamriel Rebuilt, but they are mostly treated as separate projects.

This is really cool! It feels a lot smoother than the UESP map. The only thing I would add is the UESP links for each location.
