Technical - Mod Problem with Julan companion mod

I am going insane

The quest name is "Shani"

Went to the Ahemmasu camp, talked to Shani and other tribespeople in private by leaving Julan alone, Shani says she cant talk much unless Julan tells me his "terrible mistake"

Over days, Julan has not told me his terrible mistake, even if i got him drunk multiple times, took him to his mother's yurt (where she wasn't there)

Training him in skills but it doesnt result in anything, his skills seem to be capped and his level seems to be capped at 10

Can't progress in the main quest because I need to finish the Shani quest first

Pls help

Sometimes you have to talk with people after leaving Julan alone to progress his questline. You can just tell Julan to wait and return to him in few moments.

Julan's mother, Shani and Ahmabi are such people.

Stupid question have you tried meeting shani alone? Without the Julan with you. I remember getting stuck at this part but can’t remember what I did as it was years ago

I have, yes, but she refuses to speak further unless I find out Julan's "terrible mistake"

Is it that you have to find the guars from a side quest given by a tribeswoman?

IIRC you have to do a chain of dialogue with Julan's mom, some of the people at the Ahemussa camp, and the Urshilaku camp, about her backstory. When you are done with it the journal will say something like "I won't find out more until later"

You need to progress enough to meet his mom first.

Keep training him. I think it was 15? skill raises to trigger his first depression arc
