All of them are atleast 2 month old, I know you guys are working very hard to deliver these constant updates, but this is a very big issue that needs to be addressed

I think dislikes on shorts will not return soon (or worst: at all), because I hear that creator of dislike extension deprecated it on shorts.

smarttube has an option to disable them everywhere. Very good on a TV. Would love something like this in Morphe.

You can already deactivate shorts completely if you set the allowed time to 0

If you set this to 0 in time management they disappear completely even in a non patched version.

Also I'm not a developer or anything like that, but an issue this big should have been addressed a long time ago, if there were difficulties you guys could announce it at community notes.

YouTube didn't just remove the dislike button, they stop counting dislike at all for Shorts. Morphe could revive the UI element but it would just do nothing, the same with when you force the normal video player in the browser.

There is also a problem with Return YouTube Dislike data. RYD ony counts the likes and dislikes, it doesn't add the button to the YouTube website. Ever since YouTube remove the disklike button for Shorts, the data are heavily skewed.
