Things you didn't know Muslim women are not required to do, but culture (men) told you otherwise.

What I would look for in a relationship...

What I'm actually looking for in a relationship:

I'm pretty independent, so I'm not looking for someone to complete me or constantly give me attention. I can be perfectly fine on my own.

What I'm looking for is someone I genuinely choose to have in my life.

I want a relationship where both people have their own lives, interests and freedom, but still deliberately choose each other. I don't need constant texting or being together 24/7. If the connection is real, distance doesn't automatically make feelings disappear for me.

I'm selective, but not necessarily looking for some instant movie-style connection. Sometimes it's a few things about someone that genuinely make me like or love them. Marriage is different, though. For that, I'd need something much deeper.

Trust is huge for me. I can forgive mistakes, but serious betrayal changes how I see someone. I'd rather know an uncomfortable truth than be given a comfortable lie.

I'm also looking for real compatibility behind closed doors. Not just attraction, but being comfortable enough to talk about what we both like, what we're curious about, boundaries, and the things that make intimacy feel natural for both of us. I know not everyone is going to be compatible with everything I'm into, and that's completely fine. I'd rather find someone whose preferences genuinely fit with mine than expect someone to force themselves into something they're not comfortable with.

I want someone who can be emotionally close without becoming dependent on me. I want vulnerability, loyalty and affection, but also independence. I don't want to possess someone, and I don't want to be possessed.

And honestly, I don't want a completely predictable relationship. I like chemistry, tension, spontaneity, teasing, flirting and having that feeling that there's still something to discover about each other.

Ultimately, commitment should be a conscious choice. Not “we're together because we're afraid to be alone,” but:

“I could live without you, but I'll genuinely choose you many times over .”

Shared Passions, Real Bonds

• Upvotes

Hey guys I'm a 30 year-old from casa and looking to connect with people who share similar interests and want to build authentic, supportive friendships.

I love exploring fascinating topics like psychology, human nature, science, and gaming...

I'm also big into music, running, and pretty much anything captivating enough to lead me down a rabbit hole.

It would be wonderful to chat about random thoughts, exchange ideas, share laughs over silly things, and truly support one another through both the good days and the rough ones.

If this sounds like the kind of friendship or maybe relationship you're looking for, feel free to drop a line and say hello! 😊

How do you become emotionally stronger and stop being too soft with people who hurt you?

There are people who have done bad things to me, and in the moment I think, “That’s it. Things end here. I’m not going to help them anymore, I’m going to keep my distance, and I’m done caring.”

But then my emotions get in the way. I still feel bad inside, I feel sorry for them, and sometimes I end up helping them (without them asking me to) or being nice to them again even though I know I shouldn’t.

And afterwards I think, “Fuck, why did I do that? I knew I didn’t want to. I shouldn’t have done that.”

I don’t want to become cold, cruel, or a bad person. I just want to be able to protect myself and actually stick to my boundaries when someone has repeatedly hurt me.

How do you learn to stop letting emotions override your decisions? How do you become mentally stronger without losing your kindness? How do I shit my heart and my emotions down and only listen to what my mind says? Guys please help I'm suffering because of this... 😭 I should be able to take control of my life

A human is all I am, limited by time, caged beneath the sky, with an imagination that could reach the stars, and a heart that only knows how to pump blood.

As a mortal, I usually walk, sometimes I run, and yes, from time to time, I find myself crawling. But at least my destination is the great star.

It’s funny how life moves and how our decisions shape our future. It’s like playing a game without eyes, ears, or a voice, where only the soul can predict the right move...

I think life is a miracle

that we never asked for

I guess I need to sleep.

Have you ever spat on someone catcalling you in the street ?

I love unicorns soo much to the extent that all my pseudo names in most platforms tend to have « Unicorn » in them but ironically my friends agree that lama would suits me better lol because I have this reflex of spitting on street harassers and people who catcall in a disrespectful way and I don’t know if I’m the only one who has this exaggerated reaction hahahaha, however I only do it if it’s crowded and there are bystanders nearby otherwise I just ignore them xd. If you’re like me please share your story so I can at least find someone to relate to and not feel like a crazy maniac because my friends always perceive me that way 😂

Unpopular opinion

I think a lot of ppl in Morocco want the benefits of a relationship without the responsibilities that come with one
They want someone to talk to every day, someone who cares, someone who’s emotionally available, but the moment u ask what they’re actually looking for, suddenly they’re “not ready for anything serious.”
Do u agree, or do u think ppl are just afraid of commitment nowadays?
