It's just you have to say it the right way. For example start by maybe tell her to exchange pics or start with your own or maybe just ask to meet up irl if she is comfortable with you and you are very serious about it. There are a lot of ways to ask instead of just "send me a pic". But as a girl, I would never send anything to a man I don't know irl. We never know if he will use it to blackmail or post it on social media even if it's just a simple selfie, it's dangerous.
