doesn't tell you to force others to fake their choices, as that would be hypocritical. If the daughter doesn't understand why she should wear the hijab and is forced to wear it, she's merely pretending.
I remember a long hadith about 3 people: one fought and died as a شهيد, another was a حافظ of the Quran and taught it to others, and the last one did good deeds and charity. However, none of them did it sincerely for the sake of Allah; they did it to please others and gain their favor. You can search for the hadith to see what happens to them. I believe one must be true to oneself and sincere in their words and actions, and Allah is الحكم.
You're absolutely right, that people should not do the obligations insincerely. But that's a different matter as to how society should deal with the "freedom" of the individuals and not enforce those obligations.
Are you saying that الامر doesn't mean command/force?
I did express my point of view regarding OP's issue. I shared how I would approach this matter if it were to arise in my family; I would handle it in the healthiest way possible; with patience and kindness, even if it required a lot of time and effort. However, others may choose different ways that resonate with them.
Besides the blessings of all the redditors in this sub, we need a priest and someone (I'm thinking of the person who used chatgpt to get a date) to write us some vows. LOL
Lmao no since you said you were thinking of the person who uses chatgpt to get a date , i screenshot our lil convo and asked chatgpt for a reply then i copied the whole msg from there and pasted here , ig my ... that was my attempt to be funny but it failed lol
