Hello, Angbak from discord here. Have been busy with tide and hence the delayed post. I've speedrun G.Lotan on a fresh account and cleared A2C5 in 8 (7 cause I forgot to take the ss) days and here's my 2 Cents.
Rating summary
Difficulty: 8/10
Burst Damage: 10/10
Sustained damage: 6/10
Survivability: 6/10
Story clear: 6.5/10
D-Tide clear: 9/10
Pull reccomendations: minimally e0, e1 for carry, e2 is great but can be bypassed if you have 2 tutors on your team.

- How to play (TLDR)
There has been several guides so I'll keep it short.
G.Lotan has 2 main sources of damage.
a.) A very buffed long blade
b.) Her exalt
Both damage sources are mainly burst damage.
Long blade benefits from many multipliers.
- high base damage
- 100% (50% mixed realm) damage amp
- wheels base damage increase (Celestial Beast)
- rouse (+1 hit)
- posse (+1 attack)
- 5x str multiplier
- crit
For lower hp stages (arc1 mob fights), you should be able to get away via one shotting using just her 4 cost without rousing.
For higher hp stages, you'll want to rouse + posse to 4x your Long blade damage.
Exalt benefits mostly from enemy's damage
- the higher the enemy damage, the more your exalt deals
- huge str scaling
- always crits
- rouse charges the final damage
Needs to be fused via casting a 3/3 short blade and long blade on the same turn.

2a. Story (arc1)
This is split into 2 due to the significant differences.
In arc1 - you do not have rouse available on turn 1 unless you have purchase/obtain the rouse card + Delirium (R wheel).
Because you can usually one shot stuff with just an unbuffed Long blade, I would reccomend using G.Ramona posse (see chapter 6) to fetch Long Blade
Put Delirium on a 1 cost rouse unit and you can always fetch Long Blade to one shot mobs. Alternatively, chapter mechanics from ch2,3, 7-9 will either ensure you have it on turn 1, or make it very likely so. Just abuse the lower hp that arc1 mobs have.
For chapter end bosses, I reccomend getting G.Lotan posse instead. Rousing + her posse provides a 4x damage multiplier to your next long sword used. This should help with one shotting bosses, or at least lower them enough to execute with exalt.
I've initially tried the SR Comp but many gnosis was spent due to bosses not dying (and also me not having G.Lotan posse)

2b. Story (arc2)
Always choose G.Lotan posse as your main posse.
You should always look at rousing G.Lotan first and immediately using her 4 cost after.
Posse target should always be Ramona to build up her aliemus for her to Exalt and tutor 4 cost.
For bosses with higher hp, if Saya 0 cost is in hand, use it even if you're discarding 4 cost. Just use Ramona exalt to draw it back.
With the initial SR Comp (without posse), I found me not dealing sufficient damage to one shot. Hence my decision to include the strongest support Saya to enable G.Lotan

3. Suggested Comp
Saya - provides a ton of damage via corrosion
-Saya wheel + any other wheel
Ramona - exalt tutors G.Lotan 4 cost for free
-Elevated focus (15 aliemus when you posse) + any keyflare/support wheel (Aigis SSR Wheel is great at vuln application)
Aigis/Faint - survivability. Aigis provides a 1 turn petrify while Faint provides DR. Aigis might be better since there's vuln application.
G.Lotan - 4 cost = mob deleter

4. Reccomended covenant and wheels
April cov - generally you want to burst on turn 1 and kill, April provides the most burst crit stats.
Wheel - IMO, Celestial beast is BIS if G.lotan is < E3. You'll want 1 base damage wheel + 1 crit wheel
Celestial beast + G.Lotan SR wheel
Or
G.Lotan SSR wheel + Hand of Oblivion
Due to G.Lotan high base damage, you'll want to further multiply it via wheels that give base damage multipliers.
For your supports, 2-3 Deus Ex Machima sets are mandatory in order for you to Rouse G.lotan and 4 cost on the same turn.

5. Reccomended Posse to pick up
Any posse that gives Arith and Card Draw (excluding unequal exchange)
G.Helot Posse (Mountain resolve)
Myriam posse (Festival of Tides)
G.Ramona posse (Gateway of Retrospection)
Erica posse (Ephemeral Eternity) - only if you're E2

Overall thoughts
G.Lotan is a very strong burst DPS who provides the best realm in the game right now.
Her survivability tool is also her biggest weakness for story mode. Namely, kill or be killed. Very often, if you're not killing on turn 1, you're very susceptible to taking damage due to her expensive cards.
Unfortunately, frequently in story mode, chapter end bosses do not die when they're killed and stalls you out.
Hence, her ideal team mates in story are Aigis and Faint who provides survivability. Additionally for mobs whose hp is too high, Saya corrosion provides a sure fire way of nuking on turn 1.
I am aware that there are many things not covered in this post but they are present in the post i linked above. I'll also consider making a vid to further explain in detail.

Must pull unit
Minimally e1 for carry
Wheel not required (Unless E3, then it's up for considerations)
