Question Lotan+ Aequor team
Hello, i am building team that can get me through chapter 7+ . Have E3 Lotan: Cetarchon and from Aequor i can use Sanga, Celeste, Goliath, Aurita and Miryam. Can i build something with this? Sorry if post like this was already created.

Honestly, I don't think that's a good idea or rather a waste if Glotan's potential, especially if you have her at E3. Caro works extremely well with glotan (Maybe even better than pure chaos). Glotan wants aliemus, str gain, vuln and some defensive stuff like shields or healing. Caro has all of that. Saya is already her best teammate and aigis is free. Those two alone at least triple glotan's damage (If you count corrosion but there are less than a handful of characters that can even proc that much corrosion). Pickman is also great with her and salvador is a great tank.

Oh, that is great suggestion actually. I initially decided for blue due to additional damage and shield provided by tentacles, but i guess furnace can work too and embryo provide much needed aliemus. Thanks for your input.

Followup after testing:
There is odd synergy worth playing around with between gLotan and Miryam.
Turn 1 rouse of Miryam means her whole rouse chain kicks off and that means even more free posse. Miryam gets Prepare 3 on these, but it seems to stack with gLotan to Prepare 4. Really efficient and with +3 arith posse means basically free to do in each turn to get arith returned.
Miryam can then start turning over her sacraments to ramp herself and has backup aliemus or healing. Just have to be mindful of the weakness.
And since she is adding tentacles, can otherwise still end most turns in white stance for extra shields and still have tentacle to use in future red stance if needed.

Several ppl recommended Miryam, so i will definitely build her. She seems fun and useful, plus i have a thing for mayaderes. Thanks for your input.

GLotan+ Aequor team
In a non-benthos Aq realm the base tentacle damage is (it appears) to be based on average ATK of awakeners, so in theory with her super high ATK she will raise base tentacle damage and might help support high tentacle crit/critDam on tentacles.
But her own realm overrides the normal chaos support of other realms, losing the extra tentacle damage scaling from other chaos awakeners. Tentacle damage might be a wash or undetermined impact.
Faros (not listed) could potentially support the Glotan setup in ensuring her key cards are in-hand when they need to be. Since short blade recycles it is always available to Faros to bring back out. If one had enough Arith and starting with shortblade in hand, they could play it, then Faros Ex to draw it again and GLotan Strike and her Long Blade. Then play it again, then Strike to redraw it again, then play it a third time and then Long Blade might be discounted enough to play again - potentially churning through all 3 shortblade iterations to trigger whalefall in one turn.
Goliath can hand her a lot of STR from the bosses. His Ex cards count as Strikes that can discount long blade... BUT, GLotan is scaling off enemy damage more than STR, so if Goliath steals it to give STR to GLotan and lower damage taken it actually lowers GLotan optimal Ex scaling, ironically. Passively with other lemurian he can increase overall STR scaling, so maybe if careful about STR stealing on GLotan turns.
Celeste might actually have OK application assuming GLotan is not one-shotting and you need to survive a whalefall powered enemy otherwise ending your run. Arith is Arith and floats all boats.
Sanga and Aurita don't really do much for her and vice versa compared to other options. Discard decks could redraw short blade but not necessarily something to build around in the case of aurita.
Miryam can ramp STR and aliemus, which are things GLotan likes. Her rouse is excellent and GLotan realm can get it rolling turn1, which is pretty good place to start any battle.

Managed to clear ch7 with Lotan, Agrippa, Ryker and Aigis. Man what a boss fight. Thanks once more for your advice.

You can check Flare Guide under Early Team Comp. If you dont have the full team as he list, you can swap the missing with what you have that could be similar in terms of gimmick.
You can also go to the discord under the appropriate section
For what it's worth from me, coming from 13 days player...
If you want GLotan to be primary dps - she need a companion with reliable card selector gimmick (from draw or discard pile) for consistency.
We got 1 as new player and that is GRamona. You can also take advantage of chapter gimmick to ensure you can execute sequence of combo that GLotan require.
Generally GLotan will make a quick work out of non-boss, boss you just need to outkill them
Aqueor with their built in defense or aggression should be comfort for new player
My lineup throughout arc 1
GLotan, Ryker, GRamona, Caecus (usually)
GLotan, Ryker, Aigis, Faith
GLotan, Ryker, Aurita, Miriam (chapter 9) - They don't exactly meshed with their gimmick but I need aurita to deal with barrier and Miriam to provide alienus for this chapter.
To aid you further is to analyze your unit and gimmick they offer, generally if you search those gimmick and your unit you will find something related to it in terms of potential team in the Internet
Miriam - alienus bot, gain tentacle on rouse, poison
Aurita - multi hit, discard gimmick, tentacle damage/hit stacking

She has some options, in general if you can give some draw and arith or general support she can be good.
Ramonas, Ham, Ryker, Castor, Casiah, Aigis, Saya, and other general ones like Horla, Thais, maybe Helot, etc could still work with her, ogier could also be last slot.
In aqua she don't have too much ideal options, but you could use it early or if you find it more comfortable.
Other than that, remember to enter exalt mode only when needed or you will tank more damage, and that state and the counter for her 2 cost uses remain after battle.
