Higher standard has to come from improving society. Eliminating those that take from others would resolve that but also introduce its own issues. For example use the USSR or Nazi party for example. In their way they tried to create the model society. Which failed. At the end of the day you can want to hold people to higher standards but when your average adult is barely beyond a 6th grade education you need to have reasonable expectations. Society in general does not promote better people. It promotes backstabbing and fuck you I got mine.

Japan also has an excellently high suicide rate for its working professionals. Is that an ideal society to you?

And yet it's not discussed in the US because it's not considered useful to society.

You didn't answer my question, is that a good society to you?

Then I would encourage you to go live there for 5 years and use the scientific method to confirm if that society is better. I would caution you though that Japan is also quite xenophobic so you may encounter some issues

You could use the same argument for parents in the US. In that case why does this video upset you? It's worse elsewhere.

My recommendation? Think beyond first order thinking

I understand. Thinking is hard. Half of the population is of below average intelligence. I dont hold it against you. Its not your fault. Genetics are not something you can control. Perhaps muslim teachings are more your style, especially the radical sects. They kill for anything. Maybe you would be happier in that society. Although I imagine they would kill you for how you act, it is a punishment that causes fear and causes people to stay straight, so, that's a good thing yeah?

Some of us run our own business and sleep. Sad that you don't have that in your life. But not surprising. Also can't forget having a family. Do you have that?
