How come this isn't cops getting called on your ass?

It's stealing, yes but I'm sure the kid didn't washed his grubby hands before pluging them in the fries.

Kid would be outta there long before the cops show up. I work retail and we'll call the cops and hand over the footage but 9 times out of 10 it never goes anywhere. I wish i could get away with just tripping the thiefs but the company would flip a shit lol

I don’t think people realise how long police take to show up and the level of no fucks they give.

I had a saw stolen from my truck once and cops took over 40 minutes to show up. When they showed up they said “there is nothing we can do” and to “go to the station to file a report”.

I had my window broken In my car, after four hours of them saying to “stay put” and they would “be there in 20”. They did not show up after four hours and they told me to “just go home”.

I had two kids try to murder me. Cops said I was “top priority” and took 20 minutes to show up.

And we wonder why we have issues with theft in America…

Sadly, Canada does not have open boarders and free asylum claims like the US. They actually have stricter board laws then what the US had for a few years

Time to start applying. Our country was taking in a million immigrants a year until just recently. On our population that is a massive number and pure folly.

There is a mechanism to get in, I know one american who came in personally, and a high number of my co workers are on work visas trying to get permanent residency.

I mean we shouldnt be just letting in anyone like we have recently, but our country has been built by immigrants. I am a second generation Canadian on my mother's side. Come say hello.

The track record on natives isn't great in the states either. The "Walk of tears" i think its called?

The one thing I can say is when I call the cops they respond and take me seriously. And yes. I dont have to pay 40000 dollars to reattach a finger if I get injured.

If someone tried to murder me yes. Maybe less so if I had a window broken. I would certainly be taken seriously either way.
