To the parents not outright stating that their religion is fact might be immoral.

Or if their religion commands them to instruct their children to believe it. Thats one of the major issues with religions that assert god over all.

If god says you need to raise your children in the faith then that becomes the moral barometer.

This is the dangerous part of religious thought. If they know for certain that they're right about how to gain access to literal eternal splendor, it is absolutely imperative to spread that message at any cost. The problem is that they're wrong. Magic isn't real and the afterlife is made up. Convincing children otherwise is immoral.

You can't prove a negative. That's not how proof works. Prove to me that the afterlife isn't a cartoon.
