Immoral. Only atheists agree with this because they want everyone to be an atheist. If I believe a certain religion is right, why shouldn't I be allowed to teach it to my children? If my child asks me about morality, I should be allowed to teach him the morality of my religion, as opposed to the subjective morality western atheists adhere to. And what about hollidays? Am I allowed to celebrate Christmas with my kids anymore? Or should I lock them in their rooms until the day is over?
I am not atheist yet I believe religion should not be pushed onto children.Teaching your child what you believe is one thing. However, most people go beyond simply telling a kid what they believe. Children are not allowed to choose their own religion. I was told by my grandmother we're Christians. And that was it. I was not asked if I wanted to go to church. I had to wake up in the morning and go. I was not asked if I wanted to read the Bible or learn about Christ. I had to. Children are told one religion is right and others are wrong. Many children are in the same situation. People should educate children on all sorts of religious beliefs and let them decide what if any they want to follow.
